RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY
The KeyStone Center Residential Treatment
Facility is a private treatment program created to provide
long-term care for adolescent females manifesting chronic psychiatric
disorders. The program is a 17- bed unit for female residents from 12-18 years of age. These individuals,
due to their conduct problems and/or poor impulse control,
have typically failed to succeed in less structured environments
such as group homes, wrap around services and day treatment
programs. Full time staffing includes psychologists, case
managers, art therapist, counselors and a nutritionist,
as well as 24- hour access to nursing and psychiatry. Each
resident will receive weekly individual, group and family
therapy sessions. The RTF has a full time regular education
teacher and a full time special education teacher that collaborate
with each patient’s home school district. The RTF
utilizes a level system that rewards positive behavior and
interactions.
